El Dorado County Environmental Management has cancelled the Household Hazardous Waste collection at the Bass Lake Road Fire Station for January 19, 2019. For future HHW collection site status, please call the hotline at (530) 295-4100. For a list of items that can be dropped off, please see our HHW page.

Household Hazardous Waste

El Dorado County Environmental Management operates a hazardous household waste collection site at Station 86 located at 3670 Bass Lake Road in El Dorado Hills. This site is open on the first and third Saturday of each month from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, excluding holiday weekends and weather permitting (raining or over 100 degrees).  If you have any additional questions, you can contact El Dorado County Environmental Management at (530) 621-5300. To avoid waiting in long lines, you can schedule an appointment for dropping off your Household Hazardous Waste on El Dorado County's website.

State Responsibility Area Fire Fee

The State Responsibility Area (SRA) Fire Prevention Benefit Fee is imposed by the State of California and not by the El Dorado Hills Fire Department. The EDHFire Board of Directors adopted a Resolution in 2012 opposing this fee for our area.  To read more about this fee, visit the SRA Information page.
