Deputy Chief O'Camb Retired

Deputy Chief Jim O'Camb retired on December 23, 2013 after 17 years of dedicated service to the El Dorado Hills Fire Departmnet and community.  Deputy Chief O’Camb brought his vast knowledge and experience in both Firefighting and Emergency Medical Service Operations; became known for his strong work ethic, integrity, commitment to brotherhood, his fellow man and global humanitarian efforts; demonstrated his in-depth knowledge of the construction industry during his role as Fire Marshal as well as leading the planning process for building a new Station 84; approached challenging situations with a positive attitude; and focused on building positive relationships and partnerships within the Department and Community.

Deputy Chief O’Camb has given unselfishly of his time and interest during the years that he served the District, particularly with regard to providing leadership and excellence in all areas of responsibility.  He will be missed!  Click here to read the Mountain Democrat article on Deputy Chief O'Camb.
