EDH Fire is accepting applications for the position of Defensible Space Inspector Trainee. This temporary/limited-term position will last up to five (5) months.

The El Dorado Hills County Water District is seeking the services of an experienced and qualified licensed Weed Abatement Contractor with proven expertise in weed management to abate fire hazards on private property located within the jurisdiction of the District in accordance with its requirements in a professional manner.

On March 3rd, the EDH Fire Board of Directors awarded a bid for the construction of the Fire Training Facility to DG Granade, Inc., a local company. The first phase of the Fire Training Center will include two live-fire training buildings that will resemble the type of home fires that our firefighters typically face. An outdoor classroom will also be included in the first phase which will allow for scenario debriefing as well as a show-then-do style of training.

The El Dorado Hills Fire Department Administration office will be closed on March 10, 2022 from 1:45 pm - 4:00 pm as we will be in attendance at the Groundbreaking ceremony of the El Dorado Hills Fire Training Center.
