El Dorado Hills Fire Department is hosting a Community workshop to discuss the proposed Fire Training Center.The American Fire Service attributes improvements in training for firefighters with a decline in the number of fire related fatalities over the last decade. The El Dorado Hills Fire Training Center will allow for the delivery of real life, comprehensive training, resulting in the strengthening of the capabilities of our fire service.Please join us on December 2nd at 6pm located at 1050 Wilson Boulevard (Station 85). We look forward to receiving your feedback.

It is that time of year again when El Dorado Hills Fire Department's "Holiday Hero's Toy Drive" we begin collecting and distributing toys to families in need. Each of our five EDH fire stations as well as Rescue Fire Station 83 will have collection boxes in front of our stations to allow for donations with social distancing. We also look forward to spreading some cheer this holiday season with our Santa stops. 

If you plan to burn vegetative debris on your property, you will need to obtain a burn permit. Burn permits are available online at https://burnpermit.fire.ca.gov/. Please note burn permits are no longer issued in person at our fire stations.

The Board of Directors of the El Dorado Hills County Water District (Fire Department) adopted a preliminary budget on Thursday, June 17, 2021.  The preliminary budget is available at the El Dorado Hills Fire Station, 1050 Wilson Blvd., El Dorado Hills, California, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. for inspection by interested taxpayers.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held on Thursday, August 19, 2021, at the hour of 6:00 p.m., at the El Dorado Hills Fire Station, 1050 Wilson Blvd., El Dorado Hills, California, for the purpose of establishing, by resolution, the appropriations limit for the 2021-2022 fiscal year for the El Dorado Hills County Water District as described in Article XIII B of the State Constitution.  The proposed appropriations limit is $51,776,676.  At said hearing the El Dorado Hills County Water District will consider all comments by interested persons.  Documentation used in the determination of the appropriations limit is available for public review and may be obtained by contacting Jessica Braddock, Director of Finance at (916) 933-6623 ext. 1020 or This email address is being protected from spambots.
