Santa Run 2010

Well, another year in the books for Santa, Mrs. Claus and The Elves.  The 47th year did not disappoint.  After some discussion with our founding Elf Fathers, we realized we were off  by three years.  After fixing the history, we once again made it happen for the community of El Dorado Hills.  The run continued in its traditions of getting lost (Chief O’Camb), albeit not as quick as Director Greg Durante; knocking off a reindeer’s head (Engineer Hughes); getting the sleigh stuck under some branches  (Lt. Burn Suspension Lifted

Camino –Cooler weather and recent rains will allow the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL FIRE) to lift the burn suspension on Monday, October 11th at 8 a.m.  This will begin the transition towards the “winter preparedness levels” in the Amador-El Dorado-Sacramento-Alpine Unit (AEU).
